Forehill Primary School Pupils Win Litter Picking Accolade

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the P5 and P4 pupils at Forehill Primary School on winning Keep Scotland Beautiful’s Spring Clean Litter League in the Aberdeen and North East region; understands that the 55 children collected an impressive 43 bags of litter between them; further understands that Keep Scotland Beautiful arranged the competition as part of the charity’s annual spring clean, which succeeded in getting more than 40,000 people involved in litter picks across Scotland, which is over 10,000 more people than the previous year; believes that removing litter from the environment protects plants and animals, and creates safer, more enjoyable places for people, and commends the hard work of all those who organised and took part in the Litter League.
