Edinburgh Walking Rugby Tournament

That the Parliament celebrates the initiative of Edinburgh Rugby and sponsors, the Scottish Building Society, to run a “walking rugby” event at Murrayfield stadium; notes particularly the return of former stars of the sport in a “Legends” team; believes that such sports are excellent for heightening accessibility across all demographics; notes that several other club teams took part, including BATs Rugby and Murrayfield Wanderers; believes that it is an excellent initiative to encourage and improve health and social connections at all levels of the community, particularly the older generation, and congratulates all that took part for an excellent and well-attended event.
