Congratulating Newbattle Community High School on Sportscotland 2024-26 Gold School Sport Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Newbattle Community High School on receiving the sportscotland 2024-26 Gold School Sport Award; notes that this award is for Newbattle Community High School putting sport at the centre or their planning, practice and ethos; understands that the school has shown excellent practice across the core areas of the award and demonstrated an ongoing commitment to increase young people's opportunities and engagement in physical education, school sport and leadership; believes that these efforts provide clear pathways to life-long participation in sport; commends the work of Newbattle Community High School, and thanks all its staff and pupils for their hard work and dedication.
