Forth Valley Royal Hospital Ward Shortlisted for RCN Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the staff in Ward Four at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on their place in the finals of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Team of the Year Award; understands that the award reflects their continued commitment to patient-centred care, supporting patients with severe illness, and more specifically providing support to individuals living with dementia; further understands that the RCN awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the dedication and outstanding professional care of nursing staff across Scotland; notes what it considers to be the significance of recognition in the national award, and the positive impact that the team’s work has on service users, families and colleagues; congratulates the staff in Ward Four on their place in the finals of the RCN awards, and thanks everyone for their continued hard work and professionalism in providing excellent patient care for individuals in need of support.
