Larbert High School Teacher Receives Nomination for Teacher of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kirsty McLaren on her recent nomination for the National Teacher of the Year Award; understands that Mrs McLaren was nominated for this award by a parent at Larbert High School as a result of her outstanding and continuous support for pupils within the languages department at the school; further understands that the National Teaching Awards recognise teachers who go above and beyond to support pupils with their learning and education across the UK and Ireland; highlights what it sees as the significance of this nomination and the support that Mrs McLaren has given to pupils throughout her 25 years at the school in helping them to achieve their full potential; congratulates Mrs McLaren on her nomination, and thanks her for her continued support for the children and young people at Larbert High School.
