Cumnock Community Council Carnival

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cumnock Community Council on organising another successful carnival over the May 2024 bank holiday weekend; understands that, following a successful debut in 2023, the voluntary organisation, run by local residents, decided to put on another show for Cumnock and surrounding areas, and is hoping to make this an annual fixture, bringing back the kind of events that Cumnock once had in the 70s and 80s; notes the hard work and dedication that went into planning and organising the event, and wishes Cumnock Community Council well with its future plans.
