That the Parliament notes the retirement of the chief executive of NHS Lothian, Calum Campbell, who retired at the end of May 2024 after 40 years of NHS service; understands that, in his time at NHS Lothian, he has ensured that NHS Lothian and its four Health and Social Care Partnerships work collaboratively toward a shared vision, as laid out in the Lothian Strategic Development Framework, a strategy that will guide NHS Lothian forward for the next five to 10 years; further understands that Mr Campbell will be replaced by Jim Crombie as interim chief executive, before professor Caroline Hiscox takes up the position permanently in August 2024; thanks Mr Campbell for his service, and wishes him a happy retirement whilst sending its best wishes to his successor.
