Coltness High School Pupils at Annual Public Speaking Competition

The motion

That the Parliament commends pupils of Coltness High School, Wishaw, on their participation in the eighth annual public speaking competition organised by the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy; understands that the competition was held on 16 May 2024 at the Sir John Wilson Town Hall, Airdrie; further understands that pupils presented their views on "Citizenship in our Schools and Community" and answered questions posed by students from other teams; considers that the competition highlighted the exceptional standards achieved by all participating schools, focusing on the importance of citizenship and the benefits of immigration; congratulates Amrita, Sophie, Bea, Caeley-Ann and Malissa on their achievement, and wishes them the best for the future.
