Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise Supported by Extra Time Programme

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise (CJCE) on being awarded £31,000 of grant funding from the Scottish Football Association’s Extra Time programme; understands that CJCE will use the funds to support its current Extra Time initiatives and will assist with more free before- and after-school clubs and holiday clubs for children from families on low incomes; notes that this initiative aims to support local football clubs in organising activities for young people and involve their communities in sporting events; believes that this funding will provide promising opportunities within the local area, and wishes CJCE the very best going forward.
