Applauding Portsoy Green Fingers Group
The motion
That the Parliament applauds the tireless work and pride in their community of the members of the Portsoy community collective, The Green Fingers Group; notes that the volunteers care for the many flower beds and tubs in the village, sourcing plants and equipment from Aberdeenshire Council, and donations and grants in conjunction with Portsoy and District Community Council, and recognises what it sees as the positive impact that the volunteers' work has on the village, boosting Portsoy’s profile as a premier visitor attraction, while bringing a real sense of community pride to those who call Portsoy home.
