Sun and Family Fun on Greenpark Community Showcase

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Polmont Community Hub on the success of its Greenpark Showcase fun day event held in its Greenpark Centre on 1 June 2024; understands that the day was well-attended by family groups from in and around the village who enjoyed the opportunity to try out activities offered by the groups and classes that meet regularly in the Greenpark Centre, which is one of the busiest community centres in the Falkirk district; acknowledges that the Polmont Community Hub is proposing to take over the running of the Greenpark Centre to keep the centre open and take it into community ownership; wishes it well in securing that transfer, and further wishes it continued success in future community events that it organises.
