Travellers' Choice Awards 2024
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates East Ayrshire Leisure and the Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock on winning the Travellers' Choice Awards 2024; recognises the improvements made to the 14th century castle, along with the dedication of the team to ensure that the park is kept looking beautiful; understands that the Travellers' Choice Award winners are among the top 10% of listings on Tripadvisor that consistently demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence; notes that the grounds at the Dean were gifted to the Boyds by King Robert the Bruce for their support and participation at Bannockburn in 1314, and offers a huge "well done" to everyone involved in what it sees as this fantastic achievement.
