National Lottery Awards for All Funding for Fife Community Groups

That the Parliament welcomes the funding from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland programme that has been given to a number of Fife-based community organisations; understands that Fife Employment Access Trust was awarded £149,000 towards its work in transforming Silverburn Park in Leven; notes that Anstruther Improvements Association was given £133,000 to allow it to continue to employ a community development worker to organise and plan events; recognises that Families First in St Andrews was given £130,000 that will allow it to continue its work supporting families; notes that Blind Activities Support Events received funding to provide outings and social activities for visually-impaired people in north-east Fife; acknowledges that Love and Harmony, which is a community interest group that is based at The Hive LBGT+ hub in Kirkcaldy, was awarded £19,000 to fund exercise, wellbeing and nutrition classes; notes that Home-Start Kirkcaldy was awarded £14,600 to run its Baby Bookbug & Blethers sessions; further notes that Burntisland Community Development Trust was given £19,800 to fund sustainable activities; recognises that Burntisland First Aid Services was given £16,600 to repair its teaching and resource centre; notes that the dementia support group, Striving Towards A New Day, was awarded £90,000 to fund eight meeting centre spaces; acknowledges the additional awards of £20,000 for Community In Cupar, £6,100 for Crail Community Events, £12,000 for Crail Community Partnership. £2,200 for East Neuk Recovery Group Initiative, £20,000 for Fife Alcohol Support Service, £20,000 for Fife Beekeepers Association, £19.988 for Hourglass (Safer Ageing), £20,000 for Hyperclub, £12,380 for Newcastle Early Learning Nursery, £19,240 for Rosyth Community Projects, £20,000 for Embracing Life, £10,000 for The Pars Foundation and  £2,500 for Radio West Fife; expresses its gratitude for this funding, which, it believes, will help all these organisations carry out vital work that will help change lives, and extends its very best wishes for their continued success.
