Social Eyes Fife Fundraising Efforts
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the fundraising efforts of six brave members of Social Eyes Fife, a visual impairment group based in Cowdenbeath, Fife; further recognises that Margaret Munks, Monica Connor, Wendy Mellon, Lorna Jamieson, Helen Jamison and Emma all took part in the recent abseil of the Forth Road Bridge to raise thousands of pounds for Social Eyes Fife; understands that Social Eyes Fife started seven years ago and meets at the Maxwell Centre in Cowdenbeath; notes that the group has grown in that time, with 18 members of the group; understands that the group is for individuals with a visual impairment who are isolated and do not go out very often; commends all those involved for their fundraising efforts, and wishes the group all the very best for the future.
