Westfield Wind Farm: Benarty Community Fund Awards

That the Parliament recognises the recent funding awards made in the Benarty area as part of the Westfield Wind Farm: Benarty Community Fund, administered by Foundation Scotland in conjunction with Ventient Energy; understands that 10 applications were received, with a public voting event held on 11 May 2024 at the Benarty Centre; notes the funding awards that were made, including to Tartan Talkers of £2,000, to Benarty Heritage Preservation Group of £2,500, to Benarty Community Shop of £4,000 and £1,074.81 respectively, to Benarty Astros AFC of £4,000, to Benarty Events Group of £4,000, to Save The Cage of £4,000, to Re-employ of £2,703.27, and to Lochore Welfare Junior Football Club of £2,100; believes that this much-needed funding will allow various projects to progress within the Benarty area; thanks those involved in the process, including those that attended the voting event, and wishes the various groups all the very best for the future.
