Hyperclub Sensory Rooms Officially Opens

That the Parliament congratulates Hyperclub, of Main Street, Lochgelly, on the recent opening of its new sensory rooms; understands that the charity has created both a waterbed sensory room and a tactile sensory room at its new facility in Lochgelly, Fife; further understands that a donation from the Wooden Spoon charity contributed to a large part of the sensory room, with the rest being funded by Suzie Connelly, the inspirational founder of Hyperclub; recognises what it sees as the benefits of a sensory room to both neurotypical and neurodivergent people, giving them a chance to self-regulate, using the sensory input that they need at that time, whether that be with lights, sounds, or touch; understands that Hyperclub has received a lot of interest in the sensory rooms early into its opening from a wide range of individuals; further understands that the facility in Lochgelly also provides a range of different classes for anyone and everyone, including during the school holidays, and a community cafe; commends all those involved in the Hyperclub for making this possible, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
