Paisley Chip Shop Joins with Paolo Nutini to Raise Money for Charity
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the fundraising efforts of Castelvecchi chip shop in Paisley, owned by Alfredo and Linda Nutini, as they sell t-shirts for the STAR project at their son, Paolo Nutini’s charity concert in Paisley; believes that the STAR project has been doing fantastic work in Renfrewshire since 1999 on tackling the impacts of poverty and deprivation in the community whilst also supporting individuals that are dealing with associated stigmas throughout the region; acknowledges the support that the charity is being given by the Nutini family who have run the chip shop in the town’s New Street for 40 years, and wishes the Paisley singer well for his charity gig in the Town Hall on 6 August 2024.
