Congratulating Bonhill Primary School on its Sportscotland School Sport Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bonhill Primary School on its fantastic achievement of being, it understands, the first school in the Dumbarton area to receive the sportscotland School Sport Award; understands that this award is to encourage the school to put young people at the heart of the decision-making, planning and implementation of its extracurricular sports activities; notes that the school has been recognised for its achievement in putting sport at the heart of its planning, practice and school ethos, and considers that the school has shown excellent practice across the area and has committed to further increasing young people's opportunities to participate in sport.
