Cosy Kingdom’s Safe and Warm Fife Project
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the role of community-based energy advisors in tackling the cost of living crisis; welcomes the critical support provided to over 1,500 vulnerable individuals in Fife through Cosy Kingdom’s Safe and Warm Fife, which is a project that has been funded in partnership with SGN since 2022; appreciates the efforts of Greener Kirkcaldy advisors in empowering people to manage their energy use, enhance safety and improve wellbeing; welcomes reports that further funding for this initiative that will benefit a further 1,000 people with in-depth energy advice and on carbon monoxide safety advice, and welcomes the innovative scheme providing free gas boiler servicing to low-income homeowners.
