The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Drugs, Alcohol and Psychotherapies Limited (DAPL) on marking its 30th anniversary; understands that DAPL, based in Leven, is a longstanding commissioned provider, delivering a range of counselling and support services to both adults and young people affected by substance use throughout Fife; further understands that DAPL was established in 1994 from a small room in Buckhaven and has progressed to an almost 30-strong team of staff plus volunteers providing what it sees as vital counselling across the whole of Fife, whilst remaining deeply rooted in the community; pays credit to all the staff and volunteers at DAPL on their commitment, dedication and tireless efforts over the past 30 years, and wishes them an enjoyable event celebrating this milestone anniversary on 16 August 2024. .
