Bikes for Northfield Academy Pupils
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the donation of 26 refurbished bicycles from Aberdeen-based Sodexo Energy and Resources to pupils at Northfield Academy; understands that a partnership with AberNecessities and HMP Addiewell in West Lothian saw bikes refurbished as part of a programme to equip prisoners with skills for post-release employment; further understands that Northfield Academy has provided HMP Addiewell with a further 13 bikes to be reconditioned as part of the programme; commends the efforts of all those involved, and wishes them the best of luck moving forward.
