Celebrating Team Scotland's Victory in the World Schools Debating Championships

That the Parliament congratulates Team Scotland for its victory in the World Schools Debating Championships; recognises the stellar performance by Logan Moss from Dollar Academy, Miya Turner from Portobello High School, Lena Zielinksa from Broxburn Academy, and Sophie Hannigan and Callum Hendry from St Columba’s in Kilmacolm, who overcame New Zealand, Pakistan, England and Qatar to meet Bulgaria in the final; celebrates Team Scotland’s record, and understands that the team was crowned the winner for the fifth time in the history of the competition.
