Inverkeithing Highland Games 2024

The motion

That the Parliament notes the success of the Inverkeithing Highland Games, which were held on 3 August 2024 at Ballast Park; understands that there was lots to see and do, with various stalls and performances; further understands that there were events held in advance of the games on 2 August, including the Hat and Ribbon Race; understands that the event was well attended both by people from the community and further afield; recognises that the Chieftain of the Games was David Barratt, who is a councillor for the area; believes that David did an excellent job; thanks all of the volunteers for their hard work and effort that has gone into organising the games over the last year; believes that events like this would not be possible without volunteers, who are a credit to their community, and thanks them for this.
