The Welcome Launch of Farm Talk

That the Parliament applauds the launch of Farm Talk, which is a service that has been set up to provide peer-to-peer mental health support in the farming sector; notes that it is a collaboration between the National Farmers Union Scotland, NFU Mutual and the Peterhead-based mental health charity, Men United, and provides an innovative and lifesaving service to anyone who needs it: acknowledges what it sees as what can be the impact of loneliness and isolation among people in farming and the challenges of rurality in accessing mental health support services, and thanks NFU Scotland and Men United in playing a leading role in providing support and breaking down long-held stigma regarding the subject of mental health.
