North Lanarkshire Country Sports Championship

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all the pupils from across Lanarkshire who recently participated in the North Lanarkshire Country Sports Championship, held in Grangemouth; understands that over 1,000 students from 26 schools participated in a range of track and field events; notes that pupils from St Aidan’s High School in Wishaw won a staggering 13 medals, including six gold, three silver and four bronze; believes that the championship promotes teamwork and healthy lifestyles, supporting the emerging talent and bringing young people together, and wishes all the pupils and staff all the best for the future.
