104 Years of Cathy Hillock
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cathy Hillock, of Wishaw, who celebrated her 104th birthday; understands that Cathy has been a pillar of the community over the last century, including as justice of the peace for four decades, and vice-president and commissioner for Motherwell and Wishaw Trefoil Guild; further understands that the staff of Beechwood Care Home celebrated the special day dressed as guides; notes that Cathy was awarded a British Empire Medal in The Queen's birthday honours list in 2014 for services to the community in Lanarkshire; thanks all the staff and residents of Beechwood for making Cathy’s day special, and wishes Cathy a happy birthday.
