Congratulating Prestwick’s Anthony Wilson

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Anthony Wilson, of Prestwick, on completing a 214-mile trek in aid of Ayrshire Cancer Support; understands that Anthony walked the Southern Upland Way over 12 days through all weather and all manner of terrain, including coasts, lochs, hills, forestry and farmland; notes that Anthony raised a fantastic £458 for Ayrshire Cancer Support, with fundraising lead Carol-Anne Lamont expressing her gratitude for the significant undertaking that will help Ayrshire Cancer Support continue to provide much-needed free services to children, young people and adults affected by cancer throughout Ayrshire; commends Anthony for embarking on this hike for the charity, and wishes him well for the future.
