Bfriend, Finalist for Community Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bfriend on being selected as a finalist in the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2024, in the category of Community Award; understands that Bfriend has been providing a befriending service for young people with social or emotional difficulties within South Ayrshire since 1996; applauds the team of staff and volunteers who work with the goal of every young person in South Ayrshire being equal, happy and able to access support; notes its achievement in being selected as a finalist, and wishes it well for the awards ceremony on 4 October 2024.
