East Ayrshire Carers, Finalist in Award for Developing Young Workforce

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates East Ayrshire Carers on being selected as a finalist in the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2024 in the category of Developing Ayrshire’s Young Workforce; understands that the organisation provides support for young and adult carers by ensuring that their voices are at the heart of the services that it provides; recognises that assistance is offered in the areas of benefits, grants for respite activities, offering advice on personal financial savings, and providing one-to-one support; congratulates East Ayrshire Carers on its achievement in being selected as a finalist, and wishes it well for the awards ceremony on 4 October 2024.
