Acknowledging the Asda Foundation's Contributions to Local Communities
The motion
That the Parliament recognises and commends the Asda Foundation for its dedication to improving local communities through generous grants provided by the Asda Bridge of Dee and Asda Portlethen stores; acknowledges what it sees as the significant support given to local groups, such as Fernielea Primary School Parent Council, Cairns Counselling, Portlethen Youth Club, Portlethen Jubilee Hall, Newtonhill Community Hall Association and Portlethen and District Men's Shed, which help address the rising cost of living and improve the lives of children and young people, and celebrates the Foundation’s commitment to continually supporting new community projects and good causes across Scotland.
