Lodged by Stuart McMillan (Scottish National Party) Standard Motion 15 supporters

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) for their approach to tackling homelessness; understands that Inverclyde HSCP is working directly with people who have a lived experience of homelessness to help drive change and develop the service; believes that Inverclyde HSCP is one of the first in Scotland to work with the charity, Homeless Network Scotland, on this type of project; understands that the national charity, Homeless Network Scotland, is helping to set up the group and support it with training for an initial nine months, after which it will continue to run autonomously; believes that homelessness is a serious issue and that this approach puts those with lived experience at the heart of the solution, and wishes Inverclyde HSCP all the best with this project.
