Clydebank Community Fire Station Annual Open Day 2024

The motion

That the Parliament commends Clydebank Community Fire Station on raising £2,581 for the Fire Fighters Charity and various local causes; notes that all of the watches contributed to the success of the day, where hundreds of visitors attended the events; acknowledges the learning and teaching of fire safety that took place in a fun environment during the Open Day; appreciates the dedication and guidance offered by Watch Commander Kevin Lappin in bringing the event together; understands that Police Scotland, Youth Fire Cadets, Strathclyde 4x4 Response, the Fire Fighters Charity and all those who ran the tombola stand, dunk the fireman, Nerf Wars, and face painting were all involved in creating a day to remember for the whole family, and wishes the team every success for next year's event.
