National Lottery Funding for Falkirk East Groups

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates community groups across the Falkirk East constituency on being awarded National Lottery funding; understands that the National Lottery Community Fund distributes grants from the money raised through National Lottery play to charities and grassroot groups throughout the UK to help them support their local communities; celebrates that Brightons Village Hall Management Committee was awarded £12,000 to refurbish toilets in the building, Grangemouth Community Care was awarded £15,000 for specialised transport to take older people to a social lunch club, Forth Valley Migrant Support Network was awarded £20,000 to provide advocacy and support for another two years, Bailliesfield Community Hub was awarded £19,800 to create a new accessible space and that Carron and Carronshore Hall Management Committee was awarded £1,950 for an open day event; believes that these grants will benefit the community, ensuring access to events and facilities to support local people; congratulates all groups across the Falkirk East constituency on their National Lottery Community Fund grants, and wishes them well in these projects.
