Fife Alcohol Support Services Awarded Funding to Improve Lives of People Affected by Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Fife Alcohol Support Services (FASS) on its award of £20,000 from the National Lottery’s Awards for All scheme to fund its foetal alcohol spectrum disorders Fife coordinator post for a period of one year; understands that the organisation provides free and confidential support to people in Fife experiencing alcohol-related problems; further understands that it offers additional programming for people experiencing drug-related problems; recognises what it sees as the critical work of its Curnie Clubs, which work to support people affected by social isolation; believes that this funding will help raise awareness of foetal alcohol spectrum disorders, and commends FASS for its work in the community.
