Funding Boost for Auchtertool Community Trust's Community Hub Vision

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Auchtertool Community Trust on its successful application for funds to purchase a central building for the establishment of a community hub, pub, café and shop; celebrates what it sees as the ambitious vision of the trust, which plans to open the hub for community use as well as to draw visitors to the village; understands that the funding was awarded by the Scottish Land Fund, in partnership with the National Lottery Community Fund and Highlands and Islands Enterprise; further understands that a public meeting will be held on 30 September 2024 to provide detailed information about the upcoming project, and sends its best wishes to the community of Auchtertool for its exciting new venture.
