Welcoming Irish Dancing Competition to Parkhead, Hosting over 700 Dancers

The Parliament welcomes the selection of Parkhead Stadium to host the 2024 Feis Rutai Thir Chonaill, an esteemed annual Irish Dancing Competition, held on 24-25 August; recognises what it sees as the significance of this event in bringing together over 700 dancers from across Scotland, England and Ireland; acknowledges what it considers to be the cultural and social importance of the competition, which attracted over 2,000 visitors, and commends the organisers for their efforts in promoting Irish dance and culture on such a large scale.
