The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Crathes Equine Grass Sickness Charity, which raised over £5,000 in 2024 during its Charity Horse and Dog Show at Milton of Crathes; understands that, since the show was first held in 2021, it has raised over £22,000 for the Equine Grass Sickness Fund; further understands that the show was set up following the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown to encourage people to focus on competing again and to have something to look forward to; commends the team that has organised the event and its support of the Equine Grass Sickness Charity, which continues its crucial and specialist research into what causes what it sees as this devastating and often fatal disease for horses and ponies, and wishes them continued success in the future with their fundraising.
