Straiton Village Secure National Lottery Funds
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Straiton Village Co-operative Limited on receiving £7,305 of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will be used to fund the small village shop’s manager; notes that it is a community-owned enterprise that has been serving Straiton for over a decade, providing the village with everyday essentials and locally sourced products, such as firewood, preserves, seasonal plants and vegetables, bread and pastries, and wishes it well going forward.
