Ross High School’s 70th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the 70th anniversary of Ross High School; believes that, since it was first opened in 1954, the school has been at the heart of the local community in Tranent and its feeder primary schools, providing schooling to thousands of local people over that time; congratulates Ross High’s leadership team and all other staff members, the parent council, parents and carers, pupils and everyone else associated with the school on reaching this significant milestone, and on everything that they do to help ensure that the school delivers the best possible educational experience for its pupils, and wishes the whole school community the very best with its anniversary celebrations and for the future.
