Girvan Christmas Street Party Secures National Lottery Funds
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Girvan Christmas Street Party on securing £5,300 of funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this money will fund the festive street party and celebrations to coincide with the town’s Christmas light switch-on; notes that the group holds fundraising nights throughout the year to raise as much as it can to try and provide free funfair rides, Santa’s Grotto, live music and entertainment for all, and wishes it well for its event in December 2024.
