Congratulating Petal Support Limited on its National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Petal Support Limited on securing a grant of £16,500 from the National Lottery Community Fund; acknowledges the NGO's dedication to empowering individuals who have been bereaved by murder or culpable homicide, and giving them a voice to effect change within the communities of the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency and beyond; notes that the grant will be used to deliver workshops at seven locations across Scotland; understands that Petal Support Limited, established in 1994, is considered Scotland’s most recognised and longest-serving criminal justice bereavement support NGO, and extends its best wishes for its continued success.
