Early Intervention Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Early Intervention Aberdeen on receiving a £9,800 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will help the group provide musical therapy and mindfulness sessions over the course of the next year; notes that Early Intervention Aberdeen is a parent-led group that offers recreation and support for families of pre-school age children who present as having challenges with speech, language and social communication, with an emphasis on identifying effective support at the earliest opportunity to make greater improvements in development and enhancing future life chances; believes that supporting neurodivergent children through initiatives such as this offers the best route to building a neurodiverse, inclusive and positive society, and wishes the group well in its endeavours.
