The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Mind Store in Aberdeen on receiving a £13,307 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will be used to deliver three six-week programmes annually for two years, which will provide community interventions for adults experiencing mental health challenges; notes that Mind Store, which is based at CFINE in Aberdeen city centre and has been operational since 2019, provides person-centred counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) in an effort to improve the wellbeing and mental health of adults aged 16 and over in the Aberdeen area; believes that Mind Store’s aim of developing the links between nutrition and mental and physical wellbeing is particularly important during the cost of living crisis, and hopes that this grant will go a long way in supporting Mind Store’s activities in the coming months.
