Newton Mearns Restaurant Wins Key Prize at Food Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Nonna Gina’s in Newton Mearns, on being awarded the Best Italian Establishment at the Scottish Food Awards 2024; understands that Nonna Gina’s is a family-run business and celebrates its long history and Italian heritage; commends the hard work of the managers, Giancarlo Bernacchi and Gianni Di Meo, the head chef, Youssef Ouafi, and all of the staff of the restaurant on their continued commitment to serving high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine, and wishes everyone at Nonna Gina’s every success as the restaurant grows and thrives in the future.
