Congratulations to the Find Your Team Campaign

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH), sportscotland and Young Scot on the launch, on 5 September 2024, of the Find Your Team campaign, which aims to encourage everyone across Scotland to get involved in a sport or physical activity to help make new friends and connections and overcome feelings of loneliness or social isolation; believes that getting active is vital for everyone's physical and mental wellbeing and a great way to meet new people and have conversations about mental health; wishes Scotland's clubs, groups and sports' governing bodies all the best for recruiting new members, and encourages people across the country to consider taking up a new sport or physical activity in line with the campaign aims.
