St Eunan’s Primary School Shortlisted for Jamie Oliver’s Good School Food Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates St Eunan’s Primary School in Clydebank on beingrecognised by the 2024 Jamie Oliver Good School Food Awards, withits Family Learning programme and Polytunnel project being shortlisted inthe Food Educator of the Year category; notes that the school uses itspolytunnel to grow fruit and vegetables that are subsequently used by thepupils to make healthy meals; acknowledges that these awards were introduced torecognise such programmes and the people who work hard to ensure that schoolpupils are well fed, and thanks St Eunan’s for taking on such a positiveinitiative, which, it believes, will teach children at a young age about healthyeating and sustainable food production.
