Congratulating Milngavie FC on Winning Diversity in Sport Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Milngavie FC on being awarded the Diversity in Sport Award at The Herald’s 2024 Diversity Awards; notes that the award was announced at the annual awards ceremony held on 13 September 2024 at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow; understands that the award celebrates the impacts of driving diversity and inclusion, lasting benefits to individuals and the community, and increases in engagement and involvement from minority groups, and commends Milngavie FC for its outward-looking and forward-thinking approach to making sports more inclusive and diverse.
