Legacy of Love, Celebrating the History of St Columbkille’s Church

The motion

That the Parliament commends the work of the Parish History group from St Columbkille’s Church, Rutherglen, on the publication of the book, Legacy of Love; notes that the book has been published as part of celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of the church building on Main Street; understands that, as well as covering the parish history, the book acts as a record of the stories and memories of parishioners; notes that, thanks to the generosity of donors, the book will be distributed free of charge, and thanks all of those who have dedicated their time to produce this important piece of the community's history.
