AdvoCard's 30th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates AdvoCard on its 30 years of dedicated service to providing independent advocacy and support to people in Edinburgh with mental health conditions and, more recently, people with problematic substance use; understands that AdvoCard has become a trusted and respected organisation by empowering individuals to have their voices heard, ensuring that they are treated with dignity and respect and supporting them in decisions that affect their lives; believes that it has been instrumental in reducing stigma and promoting equality and human rights in Edinburgh by working in partnership with the city's communities and organisations; commends its staff and volunteers for their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges and substance use issues, and wishes AdvoCard continued success in the years to come.
