Aberdeen Donside Community Councillors Recognised with Long Service Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lesley Glasser, Isobyl McLeod, Jane Adam and Robert Johnston, who all represent community councils within Aberdeen Donside, and who received long service awards at a civic reception event held at Aberdeen Town House on 16 September 2024; understands that each community councillor was presented with a certificate and award for having served on their local community council for at least 20 years; recognises what it sees as the important and vital work carried out by community councils in representing the views of their local communities to local authorities and other public bodies; commends the hard work and dedication of each community councillor, and wishes them all the best for the future.
